Studio 9 is principled by Joe Coveney and John O'Connell.

We met in 1995, on the first of day of Art College, and between us we have over 40 years’ experience working as creatives.

John first studied painting at the National College of Art & Design, then sculpture at the Royal College of Art in London, and most recently animation in BCFE.

Joe also studied painting in National College of Art & Design, followed by sculpture at Winchester School of Art. In 2015 he was awarded a scholarship to Domus Academy in Milan, where he achieved an MA in Product Design.

Studio 9 grew organically out of our collaborations.

It has become a place for us to bring all of our knowledge, skills and experiences together to make innovative work for a range of national and international clients.
